Continuos beeping on start up.

Hey guys.
Sorry if this is in the wrong catagory but I'm have issues with my computer were the computer will beep the restart beep restat beep and so on. The fix to this (for me) is to switch off power from the wall. But when I turn power back on the computer boots and makes a continues beep about 20-30 times haven't counted the true number of beeps, Restarts beeps 20-30 times untill I force shut Down. This happed a week ago and Ieft the computer for a few days and it worked agian but now it's a real pain and I won't a solution

I've had this problem before. It happened after I cleaned my cabinet. The RAM was loose.
But the POST sounds depend on BIOS.

Plus you've mentioned that it worked fine after a few days so your problem could differ from mine.

try to unplug ur ram for 1 ram slot and then plug it into some other ram slot , if this dosent helps u ..... then change the ram ..... I think this process might help YOU

hey guys moved the ram from slots 1 and 3 to 2 and 4 and its working now. the real test is to see weather it will boot when i turn it back on tomorrow as this is when the problem usually begins. thanks for all the help.
