I am searching for a way, app or something, that can help me know at any point of time if a computer is turned on.
So I have a pc that is completely out of sight. Its used for movies and wireless controller gaming. The computer is connected via a network cable and I am turning it on with WOL.
Because its fully hidden, sometimes I can forget about it and it stays turned on for couple of days.
Yes, one way to deal with it is for it to go to sleep/hibernate mode after X minutes/hours, but I want to know if there is some way to have a constant info of it being online and on? Preferably on my phone.
I've thought about making a separate account on some of the messaging applications, for example Skype, that gives the info if the account is online, but this is definitely not a sufficient way to go.
