If i were to get a usb splitter and plug my mouse into it then plug it into 2 separate computers would the imput go to both computers with no issues?

What you need is a KVM switch.

Alternately you can use remote desktop connection to access one of them, but need Pro version of Windows.

Do you mean moving the mouse simultaneously on two different systems?
No, that won't work.

The primary issue I'm seeing with using one mouse to control two (or more) PCs at the same time by mirroring the input is the computers have to basically be identical in their setup GUI wise and you'd have to be doing the same thing on both of them. Otherwise you'll run into something like trying to click on one PC but it misses the target or does something completely different on the other.

So yeah, you need either remote access software or a K(V)M switch, either hardware or software based.
