Control fan speed through BIOS?

I have three 120mm fans hooked up via this connector. They are much too loud at 100% and I'd like to drop the speed a little. I've plugged the 4 pin connector on that cable I linked into the motherboard's "SYS_fan" port, but I can't find any sort of fan control within the BIOS of my Gigabyte GA-H110M-A.

Would it be possible to set these fans on some sort of automatic mode or at least drop them to say 50%? Or will I just need to get a fan controller?

Thanks in advance!

There is probably an option in your motherboard, but i also changed my mind as well after even the lowest setting was still too loud on my mobo. I ended up buying a fan controller and hooked all the fan cables on the back of my case making it look much cleaner as well as making my fans silent too!

Well I found the section to control the speeds but for one thing the system fan ROM is reporting as 0 and changing the speed setting doesn't seem to do anything. Is the cable I'm using not working?
