Controller for pc gaming

Looking for a controller to play games on the pc. Can anyone recommend a cheap controller that I could possibly get?

XBox 360 or XBox One controller, any version. If you want wireless though you might need Win 10 depending how you do it.

Best gaming gamepad for pc todays is original X-Box 360 gamepad. It works well with most games which supports gamepad and is very well made, besides d-pad and the wired one is very cheap. I have a special edition of that gamepad with a replaced good d-pad and its wireless. Still using it (i dont know 6 years?) and have no problems with it. Don't even try cheap pc gamepads. My friend and me have bad experience with them.

That's not a fact, just an opinion. Personally I think the Elite controller is a great investment and what I use when using a controller but I also prefer the standard One controller over the old 360 controller.

I never tried X-One controller, it looks good. The Elite controller looks good too, but I don't know about the d-pad. It scares me. 😀 Does the X-One gamepad works the same as X-360 gamepad, driver wise? I mean, every game working with 360 gamepad should work with One gamepad too, right?
