I am relatively handy and wanted some rgb lighting. I had some of that RGB strip lighting lying around and used that. I used some small wires and soldered everything up. It works fine, but the rgb is just doing the standard rainbow thing. I hate the look of this and want to just change it to solid white. But, all the software I have tried has not detected these lights. So, that brings me to my question: is there a way to control that RGB port on my mobo without a software identifying it? Like is there a way I can trick the mobo into letting me adjust the output of that? Any help is appreciated.

Solution
Make and model of the motherboard, which header you're using on said motherboard and the variant of the LED strip you're working with? BIOS version for said motherboard? The answer to your question is no, you're going to need app to communicate with the RGB/ARGB controller and the device that outputs the RGB.
