I am running 2000 Server W/ 2000 Proffesional all computers and users are
members of a domain. My question is i do not want people to be able to move
around icons on there desktop or change the apperance of there desktop. i
have already made the changes so that they will not be able to change there
screen saver or desktop but i want the icons to be part of this also. I am
not sure if some sort of script is required. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You

You can use group policy to control this. I have included a link to a
Microsoft scenario. It speaks of 2003 but a lot of the functionality
resides in 2000. There are a lot of resources out there on the internet
just search on gpo.
