hey;
was wondering if anyone could help identify this legacy driver on my windows xpsp3;
have done extensive search on net, with no luck;

controlset/enum/root/legacy_hfysrmm exe
classGUID{8ECC055D-047F-11D1-A537-0000F8753ED1}

I, like you, could not find anything on controlset/enum/root/legacy_hfysrmm exe but I did find this on the classGUID:
"Non-Plug and Play Drivers Class = LegacyDriver ClassGuid = {8ecc055d-047f-11d1-a537-0000f8753ed1}
This class is reserved for system use." but I think you already knew that.

I wish I could have been more helpful. I tried at least five different search engines and could find nothing.

I have managed to find out with kenrivers help, that "Non-Plug and Play Drivers Class = LegacyDriver ClassGuid = {8ecc055d-047f-11d1-a537-0000f8753ed1} appears to be a Dell Device driver that i tried to update from Dell website & wasn't correct model driver;
and although used uninstaller to remove up date, apparently didn't remove correctly;
I'll try rolling back driver to see if solves entries & go from there 😱 😱

well didn't uninstall non plug and play driver; it appears to be linked to MPKSLB ; which searching on the net tells me has to do with MSE.
which i uninstalled awhile ago; apparently something to do with updates, & not removing older definitions, causing error;
i set start up to on demand; & has appeared to have stopped HFYSRMM starting in services,
also have lost yellow icon in device manager, so no code 24 error;
will monitor over next week or so & check if error or service comes back
