"and require a Windows Hello login"

Wait, seriously? So this is a complete non-issue right? I think the only people who both know Windows Hello exists and have a comparable camera are Surface owners... and the only people who own Surfaces were given them for free, because they're either a Microsoft executive or a celebrity... But I don't think many of the celebrities know how to set up this feature.

On the other hand, we all know once the controversy is over, they'll force it back on everyone. Sorta like how when everybody got mad when they found out Cortana was secretly sending voice recordings back to Microsoft, which were then being shared with third parties (Siri/Alexa/Google do it too). They all committed to stop doing it or to make the feature opt-in... For 1 year. Then they just went back to what they were doing before. By now, I'm not sure if some of of those services will even let you opt-out of these recordings anymore.
