I have win 2000 and I want to know how do I convert AVI's to a VCD format? I have all these mpg's and avi's from my digital video camera and I want to convert each one to it's own VCD. Is there a way to do that or am I screwed??

You need a program like this; <A HREF="http://www.winmpg.com/index.html" target="_new">WinMPG Video Convert</A> or <A HREF="http://www.topshareware.com/Cucusoft-Convert-avi-to-vcd---DVD-download-3217.htm" target="_new">Cucusoft AVI to VCD / DVD</A>.

There are lots of ways and software to do it. For me, I use the freeware <A HREF="http://www.tmpgenc.net/e_main2.html" target="_new">TMPGEnc</A> to convert AVI's to MPG's and then burn them to VCD's using <A HREF="http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#c1002822566925" target="_new">Nero</A>.

This <A HREF="http://www.dvdrhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm" target="_new">link</A> will show you how to use TMPGEnc.

Good luck and have fun. :)
