I am interested in building my own buildings. I can find lots of HO scale plans
but nothing for 15mm. Is there a math formula to scale down from HO to 15mm?
Thanks

the problem is not all 15mm figures are the same size. Given HO is
around 20mm I suggest trying a 3:4 ratio.

HO is 1:87 (3.5 mm to the foot). A 15 mm figure is 4 feet 3 inches
tall in HO scale, so unless you have an army of children you want to
reduce your HO scale drawings by about 25%. Compare your figures to
the doors of the building to get the proportions correct by eye.

Most 15mm manufacturers measure the 15mm from sole to eyes, so in
effect a 15mm figure is 17-18mm tall. A good rule of thumb is that
15mm wargames figures are around 1:100 scale (3mm to the foot) and
when you factor in base height on top ofg that, HOscale buildings are
within adequert tolerance levels. But if you need to scale them down,
reduce them by 10-15% rather than 25%.
