Question Convert 1920x1080p video to VOB files to go to a DVD-5 DVD

I am looking for some cheap or free software that will allow me to convert 1920x1080p video to VOB files at 1920x1080p to go to a DVD-5 DVD. I used to be able to do so with DVD Flick, but I can't get it work on my Windows 10 pc anymore. I need software that will run on Win 10 &11.

Some software that I've looked at will only allow me to convert the video to 720p. I have DVD burner software that will burn the converted files and make them fit on a regular DVD-5 DVD.

The other main freeware for Windows is DVDStyler.

But this is a more complicated question than you think. DVD has a maximum resolution of 720x576 (PAL) or 720x480 (NTSC). You can set the anamorphic flag to have the player stretch the image to 1080p on playback, but the actual pixels MPEG-2 encoded in the file will still only be 576p or 480p.

BD-ROM does allow you to record VOB files in 1080p and you can then put those files onto a DVD-5 which will play fine in a bluray player. But it obviously won't play in a DVD player
