Convert Joystick to Usb ?

hi all ,
so the other i bought a joystick for £2 at a car boot sale and seems to be quite nice but here is the problem it has a 15 pin adapter and i dont have that connection on my motherboard so i was just wondering i could just cut the wire and solder a usb end on to it ?

p.s. the joystick is a primax Raptor 3D (no idea what it is so maybe a bit of info would be good to )

No, USB and the 15-pin connection are not compatible. What you need is a USB to gameport adapter.
