[SOLVED] Convert M.2 slot to USB/Thunderbolt

As in my question shown I‘d like to know wether it is possible to convert my M.2 Slot into a USB slot. I am not using that M.2 slot with an ssd or sth else, so I was thinking about converting it to a usb or rather a thunderbolt slot to have good speeds for attaching usb hub with f.eg. 5 extra usb slots.

Theoretically possible, but practically - very inconvenient and flimsy.

It is possible to convert M.2 slot to PCIE with Ngff M2 To Pci E 4x 1x Slot Riser Card.
Then you can put USB or thunderbolt PCIE controler card there.
