Convert raid 5 to non-raid

I was given a server that has 5 500Gb HDs and is set up as a Raid 5. I know nothing about Raid arrays and want to convert this to use as my main working PC. Ideally I want to install an HDD from another PC that has lost it's ethernet port. I did verify all drives are SATA.

FYI: Mobo is a Tyan s3992-e server mobo
dual core 2.7 processors
8 Gb Ram

yes. Go into the raid utility and blow away the current raid setup.
