hello my laptop does not recognize ssd because it is in ahci mode and i want convert ssd from ahci to ide mode with command or something , i can't change anything in bios so one way is ssd convert
how can i do this ?

You really don't want to run an SSD in IDE mode, there'll be no trim commands being passed for one thing.

It's an OS driver issue rather than a disk format issue the format stays the same.

http://support.thinkcritical.com/kb/articles/switch-windows-10-from-raid-ide-to-ahci should give you enough to go on.

There is an assumption that this is actually what you are trying to do and it's not an issue with the old HDD being laptop IDE vs SATA.
