I am trying to find out if there are any methods to convert my wired driving controls to wireless. For example I have a Logitech steering wheel, shifter, and pedals that are wired but I would like to see if I can get a device that I could plug them into that would then connect wirelessly (bluetooth, wifi, etc...) to my PC.

I have already tried extension USB cables but when I use them the PC doesn't recognize the controllers.

Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Update you post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

What make, model, driving controls etc. are you using?

= = = =

Bear in mind that wireless is likely to be inherently slower and subject to interference.

I understand the desire or requirement to have a clean wireless gaming environment.

However, I would be remiss if i did not ask what are the existing problems within the current wired environment?

Just asking and there are others in this community who have gaming/racing setups.

There may be other questions, replies and suggestions.....

Have you tried other brand extension cables? I have (and have owned) many Steering wheels and any time I've used an extension I haven't had an issue.

There are bluetooth USB hubs but I think you would run into the same recognition problems, anything i found seems kinda janky. In theory you shouldn't have latency issues though, but just I don't think it will work.

Maybe consider trying this as an extension

Even my T818 is USB 2.0 this should provide all the bandwidth needed.

Build
Processor
Intel Core i9 9900K

RAM
Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3200 (2 16gb and 2 8gb)

Motherboard
TUF Z390-PRO GAMING

GPU
Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080Ti (12gb)

Logitech G29 with pedals

Logitech Driving Force Shifter

I'm not so much concerned with wireless for appearance sake (in fact I largely prefer wired) but where my computer is happens to be rather small but I have a big screen TV I sometimes use for gaming right around the corner. I have no issues using an HDMI cord to hook it up to my computer but the cord for the controllers are much too short to reach from there.
