[ wanted to play movies from my hard drive on a TV, when i connected the hard drive to the DVD player (Panasonic blu-ray discplayer/HDD recorder) it asked that i convert the hard drive to HDD and that it would delete the memory on the drive. I went along because i could just put the movies back on afterwards. After letting the player reformat the hard drive, i disconnected and brought it back to my PC to put the movies back onto it. When i connected it to the PC it was no longer visible in the Hard Disk Drives section of the computer and i couldn't open it anywhere. As per other forums suggestions, I looked around in the disk management section of computer management, the hard drive is listed at the bottom as 'Disk 1', it says the disc is online but the bar (which is blue for the other disks) is black. Any help to possibly undo the changes I've made or make the Hard drive usable again would be great. TY

Solution
You can format it again in windows, I would use the exFat format as it has the widest compatibility of the available windows format types.
