I have a 5 TB HDD that is being used to upgrade from a 1 TB HDD.
I cloned the data from the original drive and converted it to GPT with mini tool partition wizard.
Now when i turn on my computer and boot from the new drive it leaves me with a blank screen with a while line blinking in the top right corner.

What did i do wrong?

UPDATE:
I am using Windows 10
64 bit

Am i able to convert my current drive (1TB) to GPT and then clone it to my new drive (5TB)?

Solution
5 will get you 10 your 1 TB source disk contained an OS that was cloned to the 5 TB HDD. Am I right?

If so, that's the problem. We haven't found a reliable way to use any third-party partition management program to convert a MBR disk CONTAINING AN OS to a GPT-partitioned disk that will result in a bootable GPT-partitioned disk.

In general there's no problem (using a partition management program) to convert an MBR-partitioned DATA disk to GPT without data loss.
Hi there Almighty Eragon.

Well there are some prerequisites, which need to be present in order for you to be able to to boot to Windows with a higher than 2TB drive. What is your version of Windows. In order to be able to boot to Windows you should have UEFI and the OS should be a 64 bit version. Check out this link for more info: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2581408.

Hope that helps.
