Converting 3pin fan to USB

Im bored and want to convert a few old 3pin 2.5inch fans to usb to cool my laptop

the fan has 3 cables (red white and black)

anyone have an idea of how to hook this up to a usb

I think you need different fans to run off of USB since USB only has 5 volts comeing out if thats enough to get them spinning it wont spin very fast.

Just use the black and red wires you dont need the white wire. Red to +5volt black to ground.
