So I got my hands on this laptop and the fan needs replacement, everything else works fine on it. So before I go ahead and replace the fan, I was thinking if I could convert this to a fully silent fanless PC? That would basically give me an extremely reliable system, no moving parts and perfect for work. I figured out how I'm gonna cool the laptop with an aluminium heatsink, but the issue for me seems to be how I'm gonna power it on without the keyboard connected? The power button is on the keyboard and the power jumpers are part of the keyboard flex cable. If I can figure this part out, then I could go ahead with the build. Could anyone point me in the right direction?
