I'm traveling between countries currently and i'm looking to convert my full size ATX pc into a small form factor one that I can fit in my carry-on.
The parts i want to keep are:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X
GPU: MSI 3080 Ventus 3X 10G OC
PSU: Corsair RM850x 850W 80+Gold
Some m.2 ssds i can't specify exactly, shouldn't be relevant..

I want to build the new PC in a Couger QBX case. as it fits my size constraints, should work with an ATX power supply and is available for me to purchase. I don't have many options in my country.

As for the other parts, im currently looking at the following:

Motherboard: GigaByte B550I Aorus Pro AX
RAM: Kingston Fury Black DDR4 DIMM 3200Mhz PC25600 CL16 - 32Gb Kit (2x16Gb) KF432C16BB1K2/32
CPU Cooler: Master MasterLiquid Lite 240

I am looking for any feedback on compatibility and any ideas for improvement.

Thank you in advance for any input!

I doubt you would be able to properly fit in the chosen cooler.
I would switch to air, and substantially downclock/undervolt it so that it does not temp-throttle. You would have to cool down the power delivery circuitry on the motherboard anyway which will get very hot if only a water cooler is used.
Also, check the GPU length and aux power plug clearance.

Just not going to work.
PSU don't fit, CPU cooler will fit but only using 1 fan on it, don't think you will be able to use any of the bottom fans since the card is like 2.5 slot, the number of m.2 drives you have matters that board will support 2.

Why do you say that the PSU won't fit?
Cougar seem to claim that an ATX PSU will fit in that case in their marketing material: https://cougargaming.com/products/cases2/qbx/

As for the number of fans, im trying to gain an understanding how many is enough, just because the case will be pretty filled with parts and the amount of air that needs to be circulated is much smaller.

As for the cooler, i'm wondering which one i should get, i have a dark rock pro 4 or something like that which is like 162 height...now looking for something to tame the 3900x.
I got 2 m.2, so on this part im all good.
If you have any suggestions please let me know!

Do you have suggestions for a cooler? trying to find something slim yet powerful enough. downclocking undervolting is a great idea, don't think ill have a bottleneck in games.
GPU clearance seems good, its smaller than their spec.

I used Scythe Big Shuriken 3 in this case and in Fractal Design Node 202, it worked ok. This case can accommodate a larger fan too, but if you want WC you would have to have something blowing over the CPU area on the motherboard to cool off the VRMs which makes having the watercooler a moot point.

The Node 202 had intel 9900 and 2080 in it, both downclocked and undervolted. Was a very nice build/

PSUPS2 ATX Type
Max. PSU Length140 mm / 5.5 (in)
Max. CPU Cooler Height105mm

EDIT: the RM850x PSU is 160mm.

I will try to go for an air-cooled one, i prefer them, never had water-cooling. The case you've sent will require me to buy a new PSU as well which is a little out of budget for me.. can you take a look at this case and let me know what you think: https://lian-li.com/product/q58/ It seems to be able to accommodate the PSU i have (which is 160mm as @Zerk2012 mentioned) and seems to be bigger overall yet still fit in my carry on, please let me know what you think!

In my case, I had to return the Noctua NH-L9 as it did not clear the RAM modules... Shuriken did.
As for Q58, it is a relatively big case, it kind of defeats your concept of going compact... In this size, I would rather go for Graphite 380T if you can find one... even secondhand.

Size wise it suits me, i don't have any size constraints except for it fitting my carry on :) the Graphite 380T is too large unfortunately...
The clearance on the Q58 is 67mm, i'm looking at a BeQuite LP pure rock with under volting the 5900x, didn't find any other alternative that will fit except for 120mm AIOs, but as you've mentioned the VRMs won't be cooled that way so i don't see too many options except for this one...
The suriken is too big for this one..

By the way, do you think that if i get enough fan airflow in the case, the VRMs will be fine? That way i can go for a liquid 120mm one and end at that.

Yes. How would you achieve it without a fan facing the socket area?
As for BeQuite LP, I would also check out ID-COOLING IS-60
I've checked it out, performs pretty good.
I took a look at the following review:
View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGnJc5HuRC4&t=956s
and i think i landed on the NH-L12 GHOST S1 EDITION. According to noctua's compatibility chart it fits both my case AND can cool that damn 5900x, so i think im gonna go with that one.

I can't thank you enough @vov4ik_il , really appreciate it!

If you have any reason i should'nt go with the noctua please let me know :)
