Converting EU power adapter to US - help please!

Hi - I need to make a power adapter US friendly.

The power adapter can be viewed here:

The input is 110-240V ac which I think means it's clever enough to switch from the EU higher voltage to the US voltage without the need of a transformer.

Could someone much smarter than me confirm if that's correct please? Let me know if you need any other info.

That is indeed what that means, input voltage can range from 100-240V AC

Something like
