Converting from AMD to INTEL

Hello internet,

I would like to upgrade to intel. (Specs and details at the bottom)

When playing games I have a consistent variation of problems such as freezes, blue screens and programs not responding.

I have tried a lot of things such as installing the MSI gaming app, updating drivers, checking faulty RAM, decreasing space on my hard drive, checking for hard drive issues, running malware and antivirus scans, looked up tutorials online on how to get the best optimisation for nvidia control panel and reinstalled my graphic drivers using DDU and installing them manually. nothing seemed to worked/still the same. Now it has been more than a year, I have come to the conclusion that my AMD processor is guilty.

I do not want an expensive build, just something with a mediocre improvment.

£500 Max budget.

I'd recommend AMD to AMD. A Ryzen 1600 would be better investment than an Intel setup at that budget.

stick with win7, cause no free upgrades now ... so the $100 you save can be spent elsewhere.

I am not sure what impact it has but officially Win 7 doesn't support Ryzen or the latest Intel's, only Win 10 does.

If your Win 7 is OEM its not supposed to be moved to another motherboard, Microsoft may let you do this if you call them but they are under no obligation.

As I'm not the smartest person with motherboards, which one would you recommend that would be suitable for the ryzen 5?
Also If I did get this motherboard I would have to upgrade my RAM to DDR4?
