Converting Set Top Box Remote to TV

Just a quick question but can a set top box remote control be converted to use on a tv so I can just play dvds. I don't want to use a set top box?. Tks Loweja

Only if it is a programmable remote. Otherwise it has the functions pre-programmed and you can't change them.

ThankU Kanewolf. It doesn't appear to be able to be changed. I cant actually find a specific answer either in the manual or on google to be honest, not for this particular model anyways but thanks, I've ordered a remote, seems they were cheaper than I thought.
