Cool things to do with lots of RAM?

I got 16GB. What is some cool things I could do? (ie: running lots of virtual machines)

With 16 gb if ram you can run teo virtual drives but remember it splits processing power.

Besides that maybe a ram drive but you only have 16gb

Ok. For a Ram disk, I don't have that much, so is there a way that I can save JUST the battlefield 4 MAPS onto a RAMdisk for faster loading?

Okay, But BF4 size is 28GB. Is there anyway I can find just the maps and load them onto Ramdisk?

I doubt it since origin looks for the complete updated info. If your try to just put some of thr orgin data/maps on the ram drive ot will just tryand have you update or repair to try and download all the files to my knowledge.

Also saw your cpuz validator. Your ram is running at 1400mhz? Is it 1333 overclocked because of your fsb?

Hows the heat on your cpu as well at 5ghz? I just got a 9370 just so i can get everything stable over 5ghz preferably 5.2-5.4 just because lol.


Watch your vem temps mine at those clocks the vrms with no cooler were reaching over 70c

With a single 80mm it doesnt go over 45c

You could try disabling your swap file and see how much faster everything is. (so far I haven't run out of memory playing games and shit ) so so far im saving my life of my ssd doing it

It doesnt work with bf4. Ive tried, you get more fps but the game will constantly crash every round. I used to never play with my page file till bf4 but it really doesnt make any difference. Afyer reading up on it its better to leave it on, in most cases it causes problems with it off
