I was wondering how people get this Amazing UV effects, I don't see any UV lights (strips), or anything like that. Is the liquid or tube glowing by its self? I heard they use UV cold cathode. Also I know UV will glow in the dark, but is clear when there is no light, is it possible to still have it have a color but still glow with UV? And can you make Pastel UV Coolant?

How do people do this:

So the cold cathode is like a Led Strip, but in a light stick form, that has invisible light going through your case? And will that reflective fluid be clear water when there is no UV light? And is the tubing clear?

It is a black light that produces very minimal heat out put. It will show some light like any black light will but what reflects depends on if hte material is UV reflective.

Here is a pic wherte you can see the cold cathode light in the case

In this next pic you will see the RAM slots lit up by the black light. They just happened to be UV reflective.

What UV cold Cathode light would you recommend for a Blue UV system? Also does UV coolant affect cooling? Since this looks Amazing! :

I am Thinking of buying XSPC ECX Ultra Concentrate Coolant, Blue UV

That looks safer than tonic water :)

There are many different brands and types. Do your research before you buy because some you need a coil to prevent the liquid from corroding the inside of the radiators but others have it already in the liquid. It is best to read through the links provided as all of this info is in them.

Both UV LED strips or a cold cathode you will see some light. Depending on how the window is designed on the case you are using will depict how much you will see. This an unavoidable fact of lights...

As to which one has more glow it is a toss up, It will depend on the color you choose. As an example neon yellow or neon green will glow more than neon blue or neon red.
