Hello Everyone

I am looking for a CPU cooler that fits for this socket and this motherboard. My rig is old and I would like to change it soon, however real life not always going as you plan it. My Intel stock cooler is not cooling enough anymore and instead of changing the paste, I would like to buy a new cooler.

The problem for me is, this motherboard has way to big cooling radiators(?) on it, so I dont know what would fit on it. pic of the radiator:

So here I am to ask you guys for a cooler that is around 30-45 euros (or less would be better), and is a quality cooler.

Thank you for the answers

Hi NASCAR I would be glade that if I could help you According to my knowledge you are using a stock model of block air radiator type cooler. I guess it is so, these type of cooler are good for lower end type of processors such as dual core or pentium. But as you develop or upgrade your processor the amount of heat generated from it also increases at a very rapaid rate so it may work but I am sure that it will blow your processor for that size that you have mentioned in the picture it quite difficult to find a cooler with a fan type arrangement so if you have interest and lot of pocket money to spend then you can go with liquid cooler...
Or else get a good air cooler from you local IT store make a temporary arrangement so that it can hold it on the sink and use it...

hope you like my answer just don't forget to give a rating.

According to this post the Hyper 103 is better than TX3 Evo. Do you think 103 would fit as well? And thank you so much for your answer!

According to pcpartpicker most coolers are compatible, but I have some doubts. You may need to measure because the width is 4.3 instead of 3.5 inches; therefore it will be .4" closer to the heatsink. Check the distance from the middle of the stock cooler to the tall heatsink.

The TX3 Evo can be mounted like the stock cooler (pushpins); the Hyper 103 requires a back plate.

I have picked the best answer. After seeing the charts the TX3 Evo is not too far from the Hyper 103. At this stage any cooler will help me out, so I have ordered a TX3 EVO. Thank you for your help.
