I'll be getting a new cpu which will be the i5 or i7 K version. And I have been thinking about the coolers..

I have seen the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo and 412 Slim..

Are there any other better coolers around that price range, if so, which one?

If not, which of the 2 is better?

And most importantly: Will if fit in the Corsair Carbide 300R?

the Evo out-performs pretty much any cooler up to $100 (even the Corsair H80). Air coolers are better than closed loop coolers.

Get the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.

Closed loop water coolers aren't really worth it. When you look at the test done by reliable sites it turns out that they are no better than high-end air cooling. Closed loop water coolers are not as good as custom water loops. If you are going to spend 80 to 100 plus dollars on a closed loope water cooler you might as well just get a Noctua D14 in push pull configuration.

The CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO is stupid cheap with the highest by far cooling per dollar ratio. However, there are better coolers out there, but they will cost you. Perhaps the best cooling at near silence is the Noctua NH-D14. Much higher quality fans and parts than the EVO and cools better at lower noise, of course costs about 3X.

For me personally, I was set to buy the EVO, but if you read some one-star reviews on it, you can see a lot of dead fans. It just isn't of the best quality, but 30 bucks? Excellent buy. I think I am going to get a better cooler, but to beat the EVO you will need to spend at least 2X.

Wow, so many replies and so quick! 😛

I might be willing to spend 2x the price... Which would you recommend and would it fit in my Corsair 300R which has a width of 21 centimeters from side to side.

And minus the gap between mobo tray - right panel I think it is 19-20 cm.

I saw the CM V8.. Theres noctua... But Im not sure which will fit and which not

I will be ordering before 23:30 CET.. So thats like another 30 minutes

I think frosty tech has the best and most reviews

This is the review of the EVO.

As you can see, it is pretty darn good. Of course the Noctua NH-X12 is awesome.

You can close it by selecting my answer as the best!?

Okay, kidding. You don't need to close it. It will just fall down and down as long as no one adds anything new to it.

Wow! What a massively brilliant idea! Seriously! I am checking the fans individually now. They seem to be about the best there are.

the Evo is okay if you dont plan on overclocking to much but if you are going to be overclocking get a corsair h80 or h100 or maybe a dual tower air cooler

Really?

According to frostytech, at 150W of power, an EVO will give you 15.9 degrees above ambient at 47.1dB noise. A Hydro H100 gives 12.1 degrees above ambient at a very noisy 59.2dB.

Do you really think 3.8 degrees is all that much? And at 12dB or four times the noise?
