The Corsair h100i will work perfectly fine in the Obsidian 450D case as they were designed to work with one another. It is also one of the better liquid cooled units out there.

Closed liquid coolers are little better than high end air coolers. I therefore would council you to purchase a silver arrow or a Noctua NH-D14 as mentioned by alan. Large air coolers have the advantage of replaceable fans if one was to die out(rare). All in one liquid cooler has a higher chance of failure and is more expensive.

Thx a lot mate. im just afraid it wont fit, since the gap between the mobo and the top case is pretty small
