Cooler Heatsink Scratched

So i was cleaning the thermal paste off of the heatsink of the H100i GTX corsair cooler, and while i was cleaning i noticed i got quiet big scratches on the heatsink, will this effect my cpu or the way it cools?

It will depend on how deep and wide the scratches are. If not too bad, the thermal paste will fill in the gaps like it does to the millions of microscopic metal pores.

it will be OK, unless the scratch is really deep, like a groove.
