Cooler master 212 evo

Hey. im wondering if the Hyper 212 EVO will fit in my case. the case is 183 x 410 x 425 (WxHxD mm) and with the MB in has around 170mm clearance. also is it any good for overclocking my chip? its an athlon II x4 760k BE. Many thanks,

170mm clearance is plenty of room, as it's only 160mm cooler. It's a great choice of a cooler, good luck

Thanks! the only reason im getting it is because yesterday i was playing BF3 and my computer told me it was too hot and was reaching dangerous temps. ( then again i was playing for a good 3 hours )

This cooler will drop your temps massively in comparison to the stock cooler!

Yeah. i really dont understand AMD. My stock coolers is just a heat sink with a crappy 80mm fan on top. this is crazy as it runs at a higher clock and higher temp than a phenom 965 BE which had a stock cooler with heat pipes on it!

I guess they try to make their processors as cheap as possible, as they're trying to be Intel on all fronts, so they have to make sacrifices in some areas.
