In the few reviews i've seen, it thrumps all the other 240mm Liquid Coolers.

Does anyone have an opinion on this? Is there a better option which i've missed?

Only two reviews I've seen don't compare it to any of the other 240mm coolers. The NZXT Kraken x60 or the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Extreme. Right now, I'd honestly recommend the Swiftech H20-220 Edge. It's a 2x 120mm radiator setup, but it has the built in ability to become a custom loop cooler without the need to hack the product. It also has very good performance as well, nearly rivaling the Kraken x60, but at less noise.

And are those two, the best performing?

I'm using an HAF XB case, and i'm actually wondering whether it's good using a 240mm liquid cooler as the intake? Wouldn't it heat up the entire inside of my case a lot? Although, i do have the top 200mm fan as exhaust.

The best water cooler alright put together no need to fill, would be a water cooler that is 100% copper radiator and plate, which only a couple of water coolers have those specs, and are priced at 170-220$ Out of them all the cooler master 240L would be the best, in my opinion, because look at cooler master's other products, the v6 heat sink or v8, or even the smaller water cooling products, they all have for the most part very good reviews. Cooler master productions are known for great working nice quality items for a cheap price from cases, case fans, heat pipe heat sinks to water cooling heat sinks. Personally im going to buy this 240L cooler master water cooler soon, and i have looked at all my options and have realized this is the best product out there for the price, if i was to go lower i would buy the h100i corsair but that is even close to the 240L because its an aluminium radiator.

Also remember the 240L is new on the market so there will be more and more reviews coming out and threads, so my opinion is that if your going to buy a water cooler wait a little and verify.

A copper radiator wouldn't be the best, unless I'm misunderstanding the characteristics of AL and CU. Copper will distribute heat along itself quickly and evenly, but aluminum will transfer that heat to something else more efficiently. It's why heatsinks(and cookware for that matter) usually use both of these metals together.

Yes that's it.

So it's either that i'll be getting, or i will wait for the new Thermaltake... Might be a great new addition they will release.

Reading reviews only provide parts of the answers. I just assembled a water cooled system including the Eisberg 240L, on an Asus TUF Z87 Gryphon inside an Obsidian 350 chassis. I fitted the radiator inside the chassis, at the top, with fans in-between the chassis and the radiator.

This is not a build for the ill-equipped or the faint of heart: One of the mainboard power connectors simply comes in the way of the radiator when using the 4-5 mm rubber gasket supplied with the Eisberg system. To fit, I had to replace the original rubber gasket with a DIY one, 2 mm thick. I simply cut a new gasket with a sharp knife. From an IKEA doormat... In Sweden IKEA sell these for 4 SEK, equivalent of 50 cents (US).

It fits. It works. I would have returned it was it not Christmas, I had the time on my hands to fix it.

Dear tomans,

We apologize for the trouble with the installation. If you contact Cooler Master Europe, then they should be able to provide you with longer fan screws.

Please let me know if you have any more questions about the Eisberg :)
