[SOLVED] Cooler master H410R

Hi,



I have a cooler master H410R cpu cooler now i have upgraded my motherboard which is LGA 1200,but i box it is not mention that it support LGA 1200 but in cooler master website its mention that it support LGA 1200

and i have heard that in internet that "Confirmed: LGA 115x coolers work with Comet Lake-S LGA 1200 socket"......Kindly help me to understand this as i dont want to invest more

You're good, lga1200 uses basically identical mounting specification as their predecessors so all 115x sockets as you've read urself and that's why it's compatible. You see info about ur particular cooler being compatible online and not on the box, because lga1200 was released recently while this cooler is from 2019 or even older. You would see this info on the box if you would buy a recently produced one but regarding the old, well there was no lga 1200 when they were made, so naturally CM updated their specifications online and called it a night. Would be stupid to send each and every customer that purchased their product an "updated" box with lga 1200 support line added to specs.
