Question Cooler Master H500: front fans, 1 spinning, other is not

I built my first own PC, in the Cooler Master H500 case (new), but of the 2 front fans, only 1 is spinning (top spins, bottom sits still). I've been looking at the cables, but it seems both fans come together into 1 port, unless I'm missing something or looking wrong?

If both cables go to one port (they have a Y) then I think most likely one fan is dead of you have a bad cable.

So, I stuck it into the other fan entry on the motherboard, and that got both of them spinning now. Not sure what made the difference, but I'll take it.
