I have a Amd FX 6100 and its running little hot. By that i mean alot hot like 80C at idle. So that means i need a new cpu cooler. I found one the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and the Cooler Master Hyper 212 PLUS. And i dont know what one to get to get. So i came here for some help. And thats were you come in. What one should i get Evo or Plus?

the main differences between the two is the pricing and noise level of each, although I've read that adding a second fan to the 212+ is easier. Six of one, half a dozen of the other, I'd get the EVO if you only plan on using one fan and the Plus if you are going to operate a push-pull fan set-up. Here's a link that shows USA pricing and noise levels courtesy of pcpartpicker:

The Hyper 212 EVO is the generation after the Hyper 212 Plus, and other than a different fan, the prime difference is the heat-pipe configuration. The Hyper 212 Plus utilizes the first generation of direct-touch heatpipes, while the EVO has the latest generation - the EVO does not have its heatpipes separated by an aluminum divider.

The end result, for out-of-the-box performance, isn't profoundly marked. The edge definitely goes to the EVO, but you'll find a lot of reviews that finds the difference within the margin of error (roughly 2C).
