Cooler Master hyper 212 Led Turbo with S340 elite

Hello All,

I have a CPU cooler, the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 LED Turbo and I'm planning to buy an NZXT s340 Elite for my next build. The cooler has a height of 163mm and the advertised cooler clearance for the s340 elite is 161mm, are these two still compatible?

Now before you start calling me an idiot(lol), I was thinking(hoping) there might be a bit more clearance than what they actually advertised for the case. It's unlikely I guess, but maybe someone here knows for sure.

I had the regular S340 that also has 161 mm in cooler height. I managed to fit a Thermalright Macho REV B without problems, it is 162 mm. If u will you can otherwise use the EVO without the plastic that covers the top, it will save you 3 mm but the cooler gets slightly uglier.

Without any problem means there was enough headroom ? I mean yours one is 162 mm , and my one is 163 mm. 1 mm is not huge i guess lol . So according to you I shouldn't have any problem fitting the hyper 212 turbo in th s340 elite , right ?

What I mean by "whitout any problems" is that the cooler didn't touch the side panel window. I did never measure how much room there was between the heatsink and the side panel.

Like I said. You can take off that plastic cover if you will save some extra mm.

I bought the cooler master masterbox 5t . I was going for a red and black build and it looks badass <3 . The cooler fit like a charm .
