So I've been using my power supply for about two years now and recently I noticed a weird noise. It's a electrical buzzing noise. its not from the fan because it happens at idle when the fan doesn't spin. I was just wondering if its bad and needs to be replaced?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

The noise you're referring to, it can be coil whine. I think you should contact CoolerMaster and your seller and inform them of the issue you're facing, giving them video(and audio) evidence about the noise you're experiencing.

IMHO, if the unit is yet under warranty, then yes it should be replaced(RMA'd).

Mind if I ask you what the PSU is powering, as in full system's specs?

I don't think that Coil whine actually have bad effects on life of components.. but if you can replace. Then replace that unit..

Otherwise you will be fine...
