Hi guys, Cooler Master has launched a new case MB511.

Till this moment i have chosen NZXT S340 for my 1st gaming PC, but now with the new launch of CM i really like it, it looks like it has better airflow with that mesh front panel (a front door with NZXT) and some other better specifications like more CPU Cooler height, more GPU length, more fans with different cooling options.

Specifications:

My question is: the new CM MB511 vs NZXT S340, is the MB511 worth? considering the optimal airflow, future proof for larger and wider GPUs, enough and good cable management.

Solution
Like fine , same internals as the mb510.

Meaning 3.5mm rear facing hard drive mounts inside the Psu shroud & a pair of rear tray ssd mounts.

In essence the Psu shrouds make everything neater anyway.

The atx 12v can be an issue with cases with shrouds because some extra length is needed to get round the back of the tray to the top left of the board.

Pick your Psu accordingly (although in all honesty the mb511 has fairly compact dimensions so any mainstream decent Psu model, shouldn't have an issue)
To be frank although the s340 looks nice & has great build quality it is absolutely lacklustre airflow wise.

So yeah on cooling performance the cooler master is going,to kill it stone dead if you stick a pair of 120mm (or better 140mm) fans in the front.

Thanks for your reply, so what about the cable management? its well-known about NZXT it has the greatest cable management among different other cases, is MB511 going to be fine with cable management ??

UPDATE

Hello madmatt30:

I'm sorry for inconvenience, but i got confused about some problem with this case specification, i hope you clarify it for me please:

When i read again the case specifications it's written:

Combo 3.5"/2.5" Drive Bays: 2 (Max. 2)
SSD Drive Bays: 5 (Max. 6)

I just wonder, is that means it supports only 1 HDD ? because i thought it's 2 HDDs ( written combo 3.5/2.5) or it just means one of them can be adapted and used as a 2.5 form factor??

ALSO: its written SSD Drive Bays: 5, is it something different from 2.5 form factor, because it's well-known that SSDs are mounted via 2.5.

You can check the spec again via the link posted in the main thread, it that case supports 1 HDD or 2 ??

Thanks in advance.
