The MASSIVE FILLETS ON ALL EDGES design language with lots of areas of empty blank plastic make this look like something from the late 90s/early 2000s, which the internet has just informed me is known as 'blobbypunk'.

Blobbypunk - love it! It took them 4 years to come up with this eyesore and they still need a Kickstarter campaign? Seems more like a garage project for hobbyist buying off the shelf components. Looks like hard times at ColorMaster.
