so recently I bought a 3in1 fans pack as mentioned above the (halo2) and looked around youtube on how to install them and eventually stumbled upon a video that helped a bit... my problem now is that I figured out that the pack comes with a controller that only ARGB wires can be plugged into it. my question is, since the three fans comes with ARGB (male/female) + power cables attached to the fan, and I can simply just daisy chain the ARGB wires male to female together and the last cable can be plugged into the ARGB pwm on the board just like the Fans, I was wondering what's the point of the controller then??

the controller only takes the ARGB wires into it, and to turn it on, it takes USB pwm + sata cable + ARGB pwm from the board which eventually just takes more space and hard work for nothing... whats the point here? what am I missing???

Also one more question, I have a fan hub extension cable I bought few years back from AliExpress lying around still new though, isn't it easier if I just plug the fans to it to power it up and the ARGB daisy chained together and plugged into the board alone?

what's the point of the controller then?
a controller would allow remote access to the LEDs and have it's own control for color change
and wouldn't need to use an aRGB header on the motherboard.

a hub would allow more aRGB devices to share a single motherboard header.
ARGB pwm...USB pwm
i don't get what you mean here.
PWM(pulse-width modulation) is a type of fan control, nothing to do with LEDs or USB.
I have a fan hub extension cable...isn't it easier if I just plug the fans to it to power it up
and what do you mean here?
just a 4pin fan extension cable?

why would you need to use it to power the fans?
do their cables not reach an available motherboard PWM header?
