Question COOLER MASTER SILENT PRO GOLD 1200w ps -- will not turn on when sata cables are plugged in

Hi Folks:

I have a COOLER MASTER SILENT PRO GOLD 1200w power supply that works great -- but for some reason, when I plug in the sata cables to power the SSD, no matter what ports I plug them into, the computer will not start, it just sits there with the power switch LED blinking orange

the cables are brand new built by a reputable custom builder

Try the original cables.

Unfortunately I dont have them -- the PSU was bought used, and did not come with the modular cables, which is why I am using the built ones
