Hi Guys,
I am planning to buy a Msi GTX 1070 gaming Z
Will Cooler Master Thunder 500w be enough?
Checked on Pcpartpicker. it does support 500w PSU, but unfortunately they dont have cooler master thunder 500w in their drop list.
My Sys. Config
CPU: AMD FX 8350
RAM : Transcend 4 GB 1333 mHz X 2
PSU : Cooler Master 500 watt
MOBO :Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3
HDD : Seagate 160 Gb 7200 rpm
WD 1 TB 7200 rpm

Plan to upgrade : MSI GTX 1070 Gaming Z 8Gb

Msi Gtx 1070 Uses At Max 160 Watt In Normal And Silent Mode
Due To Ur Information I See No Problem So It Should Be Ok
Cooler master Is A Perfect Brand But If Didnt Find To Buy It U Can Check On Evga And Green Brands Too Gd Luck

i already own Cooler master thunder 500w. Just wanted to make sure it would work with my gtx 1070.
Thanks for your reply

It's not a good PSU and I would not trust it to run a GTX 1070 reliably or safely. It's closer in actual size(12v rail capacity) to a 400-430w(and I doubt it can even handle that much and remain stable) PSU and poor quality to boot. I highly recommend getting a better quality unit.

Could you please suggest me which one should i go for?
