Cooler master thunder 500w psu enough for GTX 1070

Hi Guys,
I am planning to buy a Msi GTX 1070 gaming Z
Will Cooler Master Thunder 500w be enough?
Checked on Pcpartpicker. it does support 500w PSU, but unfortunately they dont have cooler master thunder 500w in their drop list.
My Sys. Config
CPU: AMD FX 8350
RAM : Transcend 4 GB 1333 mHz X 2
PSU : Cooler Master 500 watt
MOBO :Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3
HDD : Seagate 160 Gb 7200 rpm
WD 1 TB 7200 rpm

Plan to upgrade : MSI GTX 1070 Gaming Z 8Gb

Due To Ur Information I See No Problem So It Should Be Ok

i already own Cooler master thunder 500w. Just wanted to make sure it would work with my gtx 1070.

It's not a good PSU and I would not trust it to run a GTX 1070 reliably or safely. It's closer in actual size(12v rail capacity) to a 400-430w(and I doubt it can even handle that much and remain stable) PSU and poor quality to boot. I highly recommend getting a better quality unit.

Another bad sign is it lacks the proper connectors. It only has 1 6+2 pin pci-e power connector and the MSI 1070 Gaming Z requires 1 8-pin and 1 6-pin.

no i have 2 6+2 pin pci-epower connectors

All a fair amount bigger than what you need but the similar quality 500-550w units were higher in price.

Hey, Its a very later reply to the thread. Wondering whether your 500W Thunder PSU supported MSI 1070 GPU? Did it work?

It was garbage then and I've yet to see refuse that aged like fine wine.
