Cooler Master V10 for 2011-v3 adapter

Hi guys Building a rig for a friend and he really wants to keep his Cooler Master v10 monstrosity. He is using Socket 1366 X58 system. Now we're going to X99 2011v3 platform. Is there an adapter or something we can get to fit it or I should just get rid of it.

The v10 does not support lga 2011 (and by extension 2011-3)

Yeah I thought so guys it's simply too old. I mean GREAT CPU cooler shame they wont do adapter. Anyhow. I guess I'll go with ARCTIC Freezer i11 . Any thoughts on that ?

I wouldn't go for that cooler, for a little more you can get a hyper 212x which is a better cooler.
