Cooler Master V8 gts and corsair 460x compatibility

Can I fit a Cooler Master v8 gts in a Corsair 460x? Case specifications say maximum cpu cooler height is 168 mm and the V8 is 170 mm but does it take into account the Motherboard? it would be an ASUS ROG STRIX Z370- E
