[SOLVED] SOLVED cooler so tall

hi,
I have just put a Gammaxx 400 cooler onto my AMD Socket 4 CPU. I have a very large full size case, yet the cooler still pokes beyond the top of the case by about 1/2 inch. I'm not sure why they built the cooler quite that tall. Anyway, fortunately my case has a little hatchway over the CPU that I was able to unscrew and open up so that the lid still fits back on.
But this is a living room HTPC and having a big hole is not quite the look I was going for. Is there any kind of accessory I can put over the hatch to cover up the hole that will still leave enough room for those copper protuberances on the cooler? I wish I could attach a photo
My cooling needs are not vast, I just bought the Gammaxx because it got good reviews.

Gammax 400 is 154.5mm. It's 1/2" too tall. That means, your case supports cpu coolers up to 140mm.

Gammax C40 would fit into your case.

Thank you. Looks like I just bought the wrong cooler. But my case is truly ginormous so I'm wondering what kind of case would fit the 400. Oh well.

It's a fan duct adapter and cover.
You just have to find appropriate size for your case.
They come in sizes 80mm, 92mm, 120mm, 140mm.
