The title says it all. When I run a game my computer like crashes, and it restarts.(GPU Overheating). I bought

this cooler(its the exact one). So yeah.. I would be thankful if someone would help me ASAP!
Thanks in advance!

I changed the cooler because one day I was playing a game(not sure which one) and the screen went black. I've had situations like that where the monitor turns back on, but this time it didn't. So I restarted my PC and it came to the loading screen and the monitor turned off. So first I thought it was the cooler's fault because two fins dropped from it so instead of 11 fins it had 8 so I was like yeah its the coolers fault. So I went out to a shop and I bought that one(up) and I placed it and I still had the same problem. So I went for a deep search and found out that my driver was screwed so I uninstalled my driver and it worked. So I restarted my PC and I didn't have the same problem. So I installed a new driver for Nvidia and I tried playing NBA 2K15 and I didn't even start a match my pc crashed.

2nd Oh yeah I did everything(there are also instructions so I followed those).

Ok it's either your cooler isn't touching the gou so it really causing it to overheat, or thermal paste isn't applied properly. artifacts are weird flickering lines or shapes that appear on games when the card is overheating. Let's hope you did not fry your gpu's vrms. Just re install the cooler and make sure it's properly seated and thermal is applied correctly.

The aftermarket fan that i installed on the gpu goes with 2400 rpm.But when i start a game the temperature of the gp goes up, but the fan speed remains the same.I think that if i can control the speed of the fan it will be all good, but it is connected to the power supply, not the gpu.
