Coolermaster case only came with Seven standoffs

So I just bought the CoolerMaster Masterbox 5, and inside the plastic where the mounting screws are, there were only 7 motherboard standoffs and screws. My mobo needs 9.
Is this always the case? Do i need to buy the other 2 standoffs seperately? This is crazy

I wouldn't worry too much, i'd say put 3 in the middle, 2 in the top and 2 in the bottom. You shouldn't experience any errors as long as the motherboard is not touching the case.

It is the Mb requirement that counts Danielle. Check your MB mounting holes as they may only require 7 standoffs. If there are 9 standoff mounting holes then you should obtain the extra standoffs as there is a chance the MB pcb will droop.
