Hi all. After using my trusted Scythe Mugen 3 for a couple of years, I'm now considering taking the next step and going with water cooling. Since I'm new to the watercooling scene, I thought I would go with a complete CPU water cooling kit (XSPC Raystorm 750 with EX240 radiator). The thing is, this will cool my CPU fine but I would like to integrate a GPU block as well that will allow me to boost my GPU as well. So from some research I've done, it's recommended to get a 360 radiator if I want to cool a GPU along with my CPU. The thing is, I'm unsure as to whether the 360 radiator will fit in my case, let alone the 240 that comes with the kit. I have some idea of where to mount it by taking out the top 200mm fan and putting the radiator in there.

So will a 360 radiator fit in a Coolermaster HAF 922 case? Thanks.

With modding, anything is possible but if you're asking us with a no-hands-on-tool approach then no. You'd starve the rad of fresh air and possibly recycle your heat up top to warrant incremental temps.

Here's how I see it:
a| 360rad fits in HAF922? no
b| 360rad fits on HAF922? yes
c| 360rad fits behind HAF922? yes

for options b and c you'll need a couple of standoffs or a rad box. The former comes with the EX kit I think. Btw get the RX and you'll be a happy overclocker 😀

Hope this helps
:)

Hi Leprekaun,

The case only supports up to 240mm. I noticed that there were other posts on this thread suggesting you mod this case. If you consider this option, keep in mind that doing so would void the warranty on the case.

We do offer options if anybody would like to mount a 360mm radiator such as the Haf 932, Haf X, Cosmos II.

If you have further questions, please let us know.
